Although the prominent place and countless hours of work on the Oosterpark Rankings on this site may suggest otherwise,
Association Football is not the author's favourite code of football. That status is reserved for Gaelic Football, Ireland's number 1 sport. Having been
infected with its virus during a first trip to Ireland in 2003, I've tried to make an active contribution to the expanding Gaelic Football scene on mainland
Europe. In a short playing "career", I've thoroughly enjoyed this sport, and now that life's caught up with me and made it next to impossible to commit to
a season-long European campaign, that contribution has to be limited to keeping the GAA section of this website up-to-date, somewhere between attending the
odd game and watching it on TV.

From Real Madrid to Zoundourma, any club that's ever won anything noteworthy is listed somewhere in the rankings. Rankings are available in various formats, including modern era, rankings by century, rankings for Europe (UEFA), South America (CONMEBOL), North America (CONCACAF), Africa (CAF), Asia (AFC) and Oceania (OFC),
current year points allocations, a vidiprinter showing the latest action and movements in these all-time football rankings. In the near future, a roll of
honour will be added for many football clubs, starting with those highest up these global rankings.
The entire CMS section, or FMS as it's known knowadays, is dedicated to the greatest football management game known to man, and for over a decade has been
produced by the good people of Sports Interactive in London. Although this site contains the storywriting archives of the hardcore of story forum members on
SI's official website, we stress that ZelenaZvezda.com is not officially affiliated to the team behind
the Championship Manager and Football Manager series.
Other sections
Data integrity is as high as possible due to the use of the most reliable sources on the internet, such as the
RSSSF.
The name for these worldwide club football classifications is a tribute to FC Groningen's old Oosterpark Stadium, which was closed and demolished in 2006.
The addition of a GAA section was the first step in the expansion of ZelenaZvezda.com. Over time, more content will be added to this
website.
